Plain-language summary: Be truthful, respectful, and lawful. You keep ownership of what you post, while giving Softdro Social Network the permission needed to display and operate it. Do not post illegal, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or dangerous material. We may moderate content or accounts to protect users and the Service. The detailed terms below control if this summary conflicts with them.
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Softdro Social Network, including its websites, features, communications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). “Softdro,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Service.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. Eligibility and minors
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required in your country, to create an account. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not directed to children under 13.
You may not use the Service if applicable law prohibits you from receiving it or if we previously disabled your account for serious or repeated violations, unless we give written permission.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate and current registration information.
- Keep your password confidential and use reasonable security measures.
- Do not impersonate another person or create an account for someone without permission.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorised access.
- Notify us immediately at admin@softdro.com if you suspect compromise or misuse.
4. Your content and licence to Softdro
You retain ownership of text, photos, videos, messages, profile information, comments, and other material you submit to the Service (“User Content”). You are responsible for your User Content and must have all rights and permissions necessary to share it.
When you submit User Content, you grant Softdro a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt for technical formatting, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise use that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Service in accordance with your settings and our Privacy Policy. This licence ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except where retention is reasonably required for backups, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or content shared with others who have not deleted it.
You understand that content set to public may be viewed, copied, or shared by others outside the Service. Do not post information you do not want made available according to your selected audience.
5. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not use the Service to:
- break the law, facilitate crime, or violate another person’s rights;
- post child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that endangers minors;
- threaten, harass, bully, stalk, exploit, or promote hatred or violence against people;
- publish fraudulent, materially deceptive, defamatory, or impersonating content;
- infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;
- sell illegal or regulated goods or services without all required authorisation;
- distribute malware, phishing, spam, scams, or code intended to damage or gain unauthorised access;
- scrape, harvest, probe, reverse engineer, overload, bypass access controls, or interfere with the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- buy, sell, transfer, or automate accounts, engagement, or access without our written permission; or
- help another person evade enforcement or violate these Terms.
6. Safety and interactions with others
Use care when communicating with people you do not know. We do not verify every user, statement, listing, or interaction and cannot guarantee another user’s identity, conduct, or intentions. You are responsible for decisions to meet, transact, or share information with other users. Report suspected abuse, fraud, threats, exploitation, or illegal content to us and contact local emergency services when there is immediate danger.
7. Moderation, reports, and enforcement
We may review, restrict visibility of, remove, preserve, or report content, and may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts, when we reasonably believe this is necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or the public, maintain Service integrity, respond to a valid legal request, or comply with law. We are not obligated to monitor all content and cannot guarantee that objectionable content will be removed immediately.
Where appropriate, we may consider context, severity, intent, harm, history, and applicable law. To report content or request review of a moderation decision, email admin@softdro.com with the relevant URL, account name, reason, and any supporting information. We may limit repeated, abusive, or clearly unfounded requests.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, excluding User Content, is owned by or licensed to Softdro and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of our software, branding, designs, or other materials. You may not use the Softdro name, logo, or branding in a way that suggests endorsement without written permission.
If you believe content infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, send a notice to admin@softdro.com identifying the protected work, the allegedly infringing content and its location, your contact information, your good-faith basis, and any statement or signature required by applicable law. Knowingly false reports may create legal liability.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and share personal information and describes available privacy choices. By using the Service, you acknowledge those practices. These Terms do not reduce any privacy rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
10. Third-party services and links
The Service may contain links, embedded content, integrations, advertisements, or services provided by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, security, availability, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by its own terms and policies.
11. Service availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features for security, legal, operational, or business reasons. We aim to operate a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available access. We may impose reasonable limits to protect users, infrastructure, and fair use.
12. Suspension, termination, and deletion
You may stop using the Service at any time. Where account-deletion functionality is available, you may request deletion through that functionality or contact us. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for a breach of these Terms, risk of harm, prolonged inactivity, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the Service. When reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal, unless doing so could create harm, enable evasion, or violate law.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, licences already relied upon, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute terms—will continue to apply.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Softdro disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that content is accurate, that users will behave lawfully, or that the Service will always be secure or uninterrupted. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Softdro and its owners, personnel, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities, arising from or related to the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid Softdro for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 100 (or its local-currency equivalent).
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot lawfully be limited for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death, personal injury, or violation of non-waivable consumer rights.
15. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Softdro and its owners, personnel, affiliates, and service providers from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your User Content, or your material breach of these Terms. This provision does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by Softdro, and it does not limit non-waivable consumer rights.
16. Governing law and disputes
Before filing a formal claim, you and Softdro agree to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the dispute by written notice to admin@softdro.com. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Softdro, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that mandatory laws and forum rights in your place of residence continue to apply where they cannot be waived. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or reporting a matter to a competent regulator or authority.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, safety needs, or business practices. We will post the updated Terms and revise the effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice when reasonably required. Continuing to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them, unless applicable law requires another form of consent.
18. General provisions
These Terms and policies expressly incorporated into them form the agreement between you and Softdro regarding the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law.
